DO YOU HAVE A BILL IDEA?

I am happy to launch my There Ought to Be a Law program for residents of the 39th Senate District. We value constituent input and invite our community members and organizations to submit ideas for new STATE laws. We want to hear from you!
 

From now through October 1, 2025, you may submit legislative proposals here: https://sd39.senate.ca.gov/there-ought-be-law. 

All proposals will undergo a rigorous review by Senator Weber Pierson and staff. You will be contacted if the Senator is able to introduce your bill idea in the 2026 legislative session. Your submissions must be able to be addressed through state legislation to be considered.
